Originally from Wisconsin, Jerry Erickson relocated to Texas in 1982. Since 1993, Jerry Erickson Quarter Horses has been located in Sanger, Texas, a convenient 45 minute drive from the Dallas-Ft Worth airport.

Specializing in Hunter under Saddle and Working Hunters, Jerry has shown 12 AQHA World and Reserve World Champions with clients earning and equal number of Youth and Amateur World Championships.

Jerry Erickson Quarter Horses is proud to be the home of multiple World Champion and World Champion sire SONNYS HOT JAZZ.   In the show ring, SONNYS HOT JAZZ was an excellent example of the talented, multiple event competitors provided by Jerry Erickson Quarter Horses.

AQHA judge since 1981, Jerry has judged at the AQHA World Championship Show, the All American Quarter Horse Congress as well as many State Fairs and European events.
